Aziraphale's first week in the Nexus!

Upon seeing the sign for the first time, he asked what he should do about Caphriel and met up with lots of people, some of whom knew another version of him who'd wreaked havoc in the Nexus before. Apparently, this version had tried to kill his angelic alternate and now Caphriel's demonic alternate, Crowley, was very, very angry, telling him never to show his face in the Nexus again. Farfarello berated Azi and told him not to inflict more damage upon Caphriel by returning to him, but thankfully, another Crowley-- one who didn't hate this Aziraphale-- told him he should ask Caphriel before "just buggering off, leaving only a note behind you".

Only a day later, Azi unexpectedly found himself in the Nexus again. With angry Crowley. Who glared and did nothing. He then met his alternate and they managed a peaceable conversation, in which it was agreed that book-Aziraphale would give his Crowley a few of his thoughts on this matter and Crowley wouldn't be so cruel to him. Then Azi scared poor Guillame by admitting he'd once been demonic and now had a friend who was, as well. Then there was happy banter with nicer Crowley! =3

Then there was a Caphriel in the Nexus. But not his Caphriel. The angels had to calm each other down, and Caphriel suggested Azi take his Caphriel to feed the ducks and show him that life went on.

There was kareoke in the Nexus, which Aziraphale did not approve of. Then Azi met fallen Anael, who tried to strangle him! In the end, they decided to be friendly, though.

After that, Aziraphale met a Jesus in the Nexus and took advice from him.

Then Azi tried calming down a guy who was very upset. He unnerved the poor man, but learned that there was some kind of incident on an island recently, which sounded worrisome...

Returning to Caphriel

Aziraphale, newly risen, stood before the door of his friend's apartment, close to trembling with unease. Poor Caphriel. He'd seen the look on his dear one's face, as he died. Of course, they'd seemed to feel the same way about what had happened; horror and trauma mixed with the knowledge that it had to be. But now, before this door, his crimes as Zirah seemed all the more hideous and terrifying. How? How to explain-- to calm-- to comfort? How?

Quailing emotionally and biting his lip as he did so, he knocked on the door.
